This subscription enables the Cloud Backup functionality in Logbook Pro Desktop allowing you to quickly create backups and save the compressed and secured backup to the cloud. Once subscribed click File > Backup to Cloud within Logbook Pro Desktop and follow the prompts from there.
Computers can fail, hard drives fail, natural disasters can strike at any time, or sadly theft. Don't lose your life long history of aviation by not routinely backing up your data as you should with anything and everything on a computer these days. Logbook Pro Desktop integrates a cloud backup solution to make this process effortless. It is also advised to keep a history of backups, not just one allowing you to go back to a point in time to where you may have deleted something or had something go wrong.
This subscription offers various levels of service based on the number of backups you can have in the cloud at any given time. We offer a 5, 10, 15, and unlimited file storage meaning you can keep this number of backups in the cloud. Backup as many times and as frequently as you like as the system will automatically remove the oldest backup to make room for the newest backup submitted. For example; even with a 10 file backup service level you can still backup 50 times in a row and the system will manage itself to keep no more than your subscribed allowance in the cloud at any given time.
Changing your plan size
If you buy the same plan size you already have, your new term is added to the end of your current expiration, just as before.
If you buy a larger plan, it starts immediately. We calculate what you paid for the time remaining on your smaller plan and add that value to the new plan as extra days, so nothing you have already paid for is lost.
If you buy a smaller plan, your current plan runs to its full expiration first and the smaller plan begins after it. We never cut short a plan you have already paid for.
When a smaller plan takes over, we store the number of backups that plan allows. We will email you first and give you time to download or delete backups yourself, or to move to a larger plan, and only then remove the oldest backups down to your new plan's limit. We never remove backups just because a subscription has expired
What this service is not: This subscription is not related to Logbook Pro on mobile devices. For use of Logbook Pro on mobile devices view the Logbook Pro Mobile subscription.
This service is only for Logbook Pro Desktop enabling the File > Backup to Cloud and Restore from Cloud functionality.
Fulfillment
Cloud Backup is a feature of Logbook Pro Desktop accessed by clicking the File menu and choose to either Backup or Restore from the cloud. You can also manage backups from your personal Cloud Backup portal.
Once signed in to Logbook Pro Desktop in the Options > User Info area using your NC Software web site login your subscriptions will be immediately available for use.
