Q:> I recently had a hard reset on my Kyocera 7135 and was able to restore all data from my backup card. Everything on APDL came back ok...I thought. The next time I installed/downloaded a shift, I discovered all the times were wrong. It seems that the timezone settings for all the airports I fly to were not restored. Is this info not saved in the preferencec file? Is there any way to change it so that they are? > > A:> First, make a backup copy of your c:\palm or c:\program files\palm directory. > > Next, click on my computer and navigate to your c:\palm or c:\program files\palm folder. You will see a directory with your new palm user name and one with your old palm user name. Open the (old palm username) folder and then click on (Backup). You will see a group of files named AirlineLog-YYYYMM.PDB, where YYYY is the year and MM is the month. Double click on these files to add to your Hotsync Install tool. When the Hotsync install tool opens select your new palm user name. > > You will also want to double click on AirlineLogbook-pref.pdb and each AirlineLog-Airport.pdb file. After you have added these files place your new PDA in the craddle and Hotsync > > Your settings should be reset now.>
