Q:> > After syncing, I'm trying to change the aircraft type to a different type and it automatically changes the aircraft tail number to the previous one used as well. It's not a big deal to change just the aircraft type from within logbook pro but it complicates things by changing the tail number thus negating the convenience of importing using singlesync. Is there an easier method to change aircraft types during the initial import or turning off the autofill for the tail number? Example I was flying one type of aircraft through 12/02 and a different type through 8/04 etc. > > A:> Since our software does not store aircraft type information, you will need to use > APDL SingleSync's "Sync After Date" to control what records use what type. > > For example: > >Import all records with your first type, then set the sync after date to 8/04 and change the type. To reimport records after 8/04, you can delete them from Logbook Pro and then run Hotsync(Palm) or APDL SingleSync(PPC).
