If you are unable to register Airline Pilot's Daily Aviation Logbook on your Palm OS or Pocket PC device, please review the following:
- If you are trying to register with an e-mail address and key code containing all letters, you are using an older key code for the software when it was owned by Auman Software. Beginning with version 6 the registration is based off of a NAME and UNLOCK CODE (also referred to as KEY CODE) pair. APDL Palm OS codes start with 01-09 and Pocket PC codes 01-10. Version 6 is not a free upgrade unless you purchased APDL on or after 1 June 2003, in which you are entitled to a free upgrade to version 6. Contact sales@nc-software.com to inquire.
- If you are using an older version, please download APDL (and SingleSync, Schedule Importer latest versions) from here.
- If you have received or purchased a version 6 key code for APDL (not Logbook Pro Palm or Pocket PC Companion as these are different products) ensure you in fact have Version 6 installed. You can do so by clicking Options...About after launching APDL on your PDA by tapping "AirlineLog" on the programs screen.
- If you've confirmed you have version 6 installed after tapping "AirlineLog" then Options...About continue with the registration of APDL by going to Options...Enter Key Code in the menus. When you view this screen, clear any and all data that may appear in the registration boxes then enter your NAME and UNLOCK/KEY CODE as issued. Palm OS starts with 01-09 and Pocket PC 01-10 and are in the format of XX-XX-XXXXXXXXXXXXX.
- After entering your NAME (not e-mail) and KEY CODE, tap the "Activate" button to accept the registration. If entered exactly as issued and your key code has not been deactivated, you should receive a registration confirmation.
If none of the above information assists in your registration issue. Please fill out a
support ticket completely including the device, version information, and registration information you're using so we can better assist you.
