Default Palm Treo Being Replaced

My currect Palm Treo is on its last leg and needs to be replaced. Will I have any problems with APDL as far as downloading the program onto the new phone? I will rename the new phone with the name on my current phone so Log Book Pro doesn't have nay issues with HotSync. Any other things I need to do to make this transition smooth?
