Ok... maybe I am just not getting it. When I try to set up a template/import... I just cannot make the data make sense,or even move past the field definitions. Any play by play advice on how to import my flights from SkyWest online? Been trying on and off for several weeks now... any help would be great. Regards. |

| Hello, To import airline schedules/bidlines, use the Schedule Importer, either download and install the Windows version from the APDL Portal, or use the web based version on the same site. The schedule information should match the format as listed in the schedule importer documentation also on the APDL Portal.

Here is what works for me.... In etrip, click on the pairing you wish to import. The trip detail should open up. In the upper right corner of the window are a couple of icons. I think the second icon from left is the one you want. Left click the icon, scroll down to the third option: Select Text File (.txt) This will bring up two new windows. One allowing you to save the HTML, and another window that contains all of the pairing info in a text format that the importer can understand. I just close the save window, and copy all of the info in the text window to the clipboard. (edit select all, edit copy) Now open up the importer, select skywest filter, and past the text into the filter. This should do the trick..... |

As a follow-up.... Neal, we have the option to export our entire month of trips in .txt format. The page has each trip separated by a couple _ = _ lines across the page. Would there be a way to build into the Skywest template to look for additional pairings and dates when it imports. I tried copying the whole month, but it only imported the first trip. It would sure save having to select-copy-paste each individual trip... especially with a month of locals! Here's an example of my first two trips: xxxxxx COS CRJ CA March 2006 ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ R1001 03/02/2006 Block: 05:11 Credit: 05:34 TAFB: 09:17 __________________________________________________ ______________________________ Thursday 03-02-2006 Report: 05:55 Release: 15:12/02 Flight CS Tail Org Dest Dep Arr Pax Block Credit D/PU Dhd Turn 1. 6610 N932SW COS DEN 06:40 07:26 00:46 00:41 01:20 2. 6662 N957SW DEN STL 08:46 11:48 02:02 02:01 00:32 3. 6662 N957SW STL DEN 12:20 13:43 02:23 02:12 00:40 4. 6641 N957SW DEN COS 14:23 14:57 00:00 00:40 D Day Total: 05:11 05:34 Duty: 09:17 __________________________________________________ ______________________________ Crew Members 1.
