Default Edit existing entry?

I've set up AVC to show the album fields I want to see and have hidden those I don't want to see normally. This way I don't get a horizotal scroll bar. But sometimes I want to edit one of the fields that's not showing. How do I do this? I can't seem to find any method except to un-hide the hidden field, edit the contents, then hide the field again.

Also, some displayed entries have a fair bit of content - notes for example - of which only part shows in the album view. Is there a way to display the complete data in a single screen, such as the one that's used to enter the data in the first place?

Hello,

If you hide a column, you cannot edit it without showing it. You may want to look at resizing column widths instead of hiding columns, as desired.

You may want to set your notes column as a preview row. The only other option is to either hover your mouse pointer over the data to see the full content or widen the column.
