Default Data Entry In Column Items

I am new to the product & may have not noticed how to do this but I seem to be able to highlight a set of records in a column but cannot put in a common entry for all these records (ie. a location, current date, or genre). It would also be useful to use functions & set certain defaults in cddb (ie. that the date be set for today). Yes you can click on today in the user fields but it enters a specific date. I would rather see the function name "today" appear and set it for that field so that every time that cddb is accessed it will grab the current date at the time cddb is accessed.

Thanks.

Default With Pull Down lists

I agree with you idea, but would be happy if we could change several items at one time with a pull down list. With some of the questionable data from CDDB, I am having to go through an change entires one record at a time. Very time consuming.

I think you said it better than I did. It really would be nice to set up my own genre and sub-genre values, then be able to change multiple records at once.
