How about you enter partial date and it put a value for the day by itsself eg. 01. Is that acceptable for you? You know it is standard and would be odd if some of your items display correct dates and some just month and year. -12/12/2006 -12/2006 -11/11/2006 Regards |

I prefer using ISO format for dates. It is fine with me to have the following formats: 2006 2006-11 2006-11-12 It makes perfect sorting order. In fact, all folders in my discography are named with this convention. Entering 01 instead of missing parts makes even more mess. How do I distinguish items released on January 1, 2006 from items released somewhen in 2006? It is also fine for me if I can enter zeroes for missing parts. http://www.discogs.com allows entering zeroes (e.g. 2006-11-00) and it doesn't display zero parts (e.g. Nov 2006). |
