Hi! I've been using Flight Central Route Browser's distance calculator for a while. Till now i used to calculate distance/time for airports within United states and its accurate. But when I tried calculating distance/time for some international routes its giving inappropriate negative(minus) values. Example- try New York(KJFK) - Mumbai,Ind(VABB) route, the distance should be 6777nm, 15hr 24mins but its showing -4038nm,65528 Hr 65478 Min . Also its showing a straight line on the map thats not correct, in real situation we do fly on a great circle path. Refer to this link: Great Circle Mapper |
