How to upgrade:


PC Editions:

1. This version requires the old versions to be uninstalled prior to installing. (Uninstalling does not remove data or registration info)
2. Prior to installing, backup your data file (File..Archive..Backup)
3. Go to the Windows Control Panel Add/Remove Programs area and uninstall Logbook Pro
4. Download Version 1.9.8 from this web site. Install the new version
5. If you have problems with the installation, i.e. it shows the prior version after installing the new version, click here

PDA Companions:

1. In order to install the PDA Companion 1.9.8 updates, the old PDA Companion software must be removed first

   1. After removing from the Pocket PC, go into ActiveSync, click Options, Select Pocket Access, Click Settings and remove the database in the list for synchronization as it will be added on the reinstall process
4. After the PDA Companion has been uninstalled, perform the install procedure as before, carefully following the documentation for each respective PDA device.

This is a voluntary update and will not be pushed out via the background updater. Download the 1.9.8 update from this site manually to upgrade.
