Logbook Pro 1.9.8.5 is available for immediate download. This is a free update for all registered customers. Revisions include:

• PDA Companions (CrossFire Client Series) updated against latest CrossFire Client Runtime Engine
• Pocket PC Warning message about data file not found updated to reflect PDA Wizard vice former install documentation
• PDA Wizard enhanced to add ability to register PDA Companions after install as well as a message to ensure Pocket Access is checked in ActiveSync Options area
• Registration system updated to prevent register dialog from reappearing after entering an upgrade code
• Registration system updated to reflect immediate feature set changes after upgrade code entered, no longer requires program restart
• Installation updated to use latest Microsoft Windows Installer (v3) technology for more reliable installs and patch updates
• ActiveSync configuration updated to use System DSN if exists, otherwise direct path to Logbook Pro data file
• Message to purge PDA data only shows if Palm OS is registered. Pocket PC sync's do not require this step to be accomplished
• Resolved issue after APDL sync/import of data where currencies using "Total Landings" were not calculating correctly
• Updated backup system to remove block from optical media backups, however remains unsupported
• Added new background updater dialog to provide more control over applying updates including option to backup prior to applying update
• Updated graphics to line up with new web sites and brand coming out soon
• **1.9.8.5 Update fixes an issue with Booster/HiRes/Palm installs lose the color in the application icon resulting in a black silhouette, program function is not affected
• **1.9.8.5 resolves an issue with the PDA Wizard where the options for the user to select between the Booster and CrossFire client installations would not appear

If using 1.9.8 or later and background updating has not been disabled, the update will download automatically and notify you when it's ready to install. The update can be called immediately by clicking Online...Check for Updates within Logbook Pro. For versions prior to 1.9.8, Logbook Pro must be uninstalled prior to installing the full build of 1.9.8.5. Uninstalling does not remove registration or data.
