Two updates are available for Logbook Pro for Windows (PC Edition) and the Pocket PC Companion.
Revisions include:
Logbook Pro for Windows (PC Edition):- Data passed to Pocket PC may not be properly formatted causing issues when running the Pocket PC Companion
- APDL Sync engine updated to 1.3 to fix a PDA Wizard lockup
- APDL Synchronization was not properly formatting dates for International users
- PDA Wizard made backward compatible with older versions of the Logbook Pro Pocket PC Companion for those that cannot run the .NET Compact Framework due to older devices such as PPC 2000/2002 OS's
- Added descriptive error messages to backup system
Logbook Pro Pocket PC Companion:- Data not properly sent from Pocket PC may result in a NullReferenceException
- NotSupportedException on some devices as a result of dynamically changing the menus once registered
- Error displayed if no custom data in Log Stats area
- Custom Time columns may not appear in Custom Tab of Logbook area
- Autofill inoperative
- International character formatting issue resulting in a data structure modification. International users must click File...Purge data after installing new build
- When clicking the New icon the cursor will be placed in the top/first data entry item
- Block times now inherit the Flight Date for new entries
Both of these updates are deemed critical and it is suggested to update your computers at your earliest convenience. For those using Logbook Pro 1.10.18 on the PC, you can
download this patch to update to 1.10.19. Logbook Pro Pocket PC users can
download from this web site and update the Pocket PC after uninstalling the old version from the PC.
