Uninstall Logbook Pro from the Windows Control Panel (Add/Remove programs or Programs & Features) - your DATA and activations are NOT affected by uninstalling/reinstalling. Then download the new version from the link below and install the new version then continue using Logbook Pro as you did before with updated features, functionality, reliability, and security.

Note: When closing Logbook Pro with a previous version than 1.10.43 you will be prompted to update automatically. You can update using the automatic updater if you don't update manually first by uninstalling, downloading, installing. When using the automatic updater, once the InstallShield system starts be sure to close the updater and Logbook Pro BEFORE proceeding with the installation steps. Logbook Pro must be closed before it can be updated to a newer version. This is a flaw in the update system that should be fixed in a future release.

Revisions in this release:
  • Updated links and references to new NC Software web site structure
  • Added menu item in the "Online" menu to take you directly to the published newsletters (archives) to search and review prior newsletter articles and videos
  • Binder transition system (printing) can now be configured or reset from the settings drop down toolbar button in the Split-Reports printing system.
  • Custom report template system had flaw in setting row height.
  • When restoring a backup (.BAK) file located in the default /My Documents/My Logbook Pro Files/v1/Backup folder, Logbook Pro would suggest restoring the data file (.LBK) into the same "Backup" folder as it uses the restore location as the default. Backups restored from the /Backup folder will now suggest placing the .LBK file into the working folder /My Documents/My Logbook Pro Files/v1
  • Logbook.exe is now digitally signed to ensure highest compatibility with security software that may be blocking launching an application without a digital signature
  • Installer updated to use latest from InstallShield for the highest reliability and compatibility to ensure successful installations
  • Various other enhancements related to security, performance, and reliability
This update is marked as CRITICAL and should be installed by all users. Backup your data file (File..Backup) prior to updating and also keep an off site backup such as using our affordable Online Backup service.
