Heres a question that has probably come up before but I cant seem to find a good thread on it. I'm an Air Force pilot and I'm trying to log my pilot training time currently to catch up my logbook. I have entered the takeoff and land times for my flights which autofills the duration. I have created a new category called "other" time because on our flights we split half the flying time with another student. So I try to log dual recieved and other time so that they equal duration. The problem is logbook pro logs your hours in the jet based on duration, and when i make duration and dual recieved the same it gives me an error if other time was greater than duration. I was wondering if anyone has an answer for my dilemma.

To turn off those checks go into Options/Flight Log and turn off the FAR error checking and also the bottom most option may be of interest to you as well (auto-purge system).
