Windows 7 PDA wizard sync issue

I just upgraded to windows 7. I reinstalled Logbook Pro and ADPL. I am able to sync my PDA with my computer and it shows it was successful. When I try to use the PDA wizard on Logbook Pro I get the following message:
"An error was encountered retrieving Palm device preferences. Please check the username, perform a Hotsync and retry"

The palm username is correct and I have tried another hotsync. All my software is the latest versions since they were fresh installs. Any help would be appreciated.

Well I tried that. No dice. I might try reinstalling the palm software.
